GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A 44-year-old man was booked into jail after being arrested on charges related to the sexual abuse of a child who was 13 at the time, according to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office.

Sky Moyer, 44, was arrested Monday night following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.

The victim told investigators that Moyer engaged in several acts of sexual misconduct, including inappropriate touching and sending obscene messages and pictures, deputies said.

Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at Moyer’s home in northwest Gainesville and said they found evidence supporting the victim’s account.
