The 7th Judicial District Magistrates Commission will meet Jan. 30 in Custer County to select a magistrate judge to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable James Barrett Jr.

Three applications have been received for the position of Custer County magistrate judge, according to Alayne Bean, 7th Judicial District trial court administrator.
