Suspect in DC National Guard shooting pleads not guilty during his first court appearance

Rahmanullah Lakanwal appeared in DC Superior Court remotely from his hospital bed. Lakanwal was shot during the incident and continues to receive medical care at a hospital. During the hearing Judge Renee Raymond ordered Lakanwal held without bond.
