PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two lotto players in the East Valley got a nice bonus for the holiday this week.
According to the Arizona Lottery , two Powerball tickets matched up enough numbers to each win a $50,000 prize in Monday’s drawing.
One lotto ticket sold at a QuikTrip near the Loop 202 (Santan) and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert. The other ticket was sold the Fry’s Food Store near 48th Street and Baseline in Tempe.
Monday’s winning Powerball numbers were 5,18,26,47 and 59 with Powerball No. 1.
The next Powerball drawing takes place on Wednesday. Tickets cost $2 per play.
