CHEYENNE – A traffic stop Monday evening resulted in several charges, including attempted vehicular homicide.
Following the incident, Laramie County Sheriff’s deputies booked 64-year-old Cheyenne resident Calvin Alexander on two counts of attempted aggravated vehicular homicide, interference, felony property destruction, driving under the influence (DUI, alcohol), possession of an open container of alcohol, and two counts of aggravated fleeing and eluding with bodily injury.
At approximately 6:40 p.m., deputies responded to a call, finding Alexander driving a black Kia Soul in the 10000 block of East Four Mile Road. In an attempt to stop the car, emergency lights and sirens were activated, according to a statement from the Laramie County Sheriff's Office released Tuesday afternoon.
