BELTON, Texas — A Bell County judge has postponed the upcoming hearing in a case involving suspended Fort Hood OBGYN Maj. Blaine McGraw to Dec. 17 after his attorney filed a motion seeking to limit public statements.
The motion for temporary injunction, filed in the 146th District Court, requests that all parties, attorneys and witnesses be prohibited from "making extrajudicial, out-of-court public statements regarding this matter until the trial is over."
McGraw's legal team states in the motion that allowing such statements "poses a clear and present danger or a serious imminent threat" to his right to a fair trial.
Case Continues to Grow
What began with allegations involving dozens of individuals has now grown to over 100 plaintiffs represented across multiple law firms.
