VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A Daytona Beach man was arrested last week as part of a “large-scale mortgage fraud scheme” out of Volusia County, according to the sheriff’s office.
In a release, deputies said that the man — identified as “fake real estate investor” Christopher Musick, 57 — would create fake documents to pose as the owner of several different business properties.

“Then, he’d get mortgages against those properties, use the money to buy more of them, rent them out, pocket the money, and never pay off his loans,” the release reads. Christopher Musick, 57 (Volusia County Jail)
Investigators also showed that Musick had a mat by his door with a phrase reading, “Come back with a warrant.”
“We came back with a warrant,” deputies said. An image of the door mat
