Alabama football is not focused on the bigger picture of the SEC Championship Game.
To Kadyn Proctor , Alabama has to treat the SEC championship as "the same game," the same as ULM, Eastern Illinois, Tennessee or even the first meeting with Georgia Sept. 27.
"Yes, it's the SEC championship. Yes, you want to win that and go to the playoffs and do all that," Proctor said. "But you have to focus on the now. Focus on the 1-0."
The College Football Playoff committee is solely focused on the big picture.
As Alabama approaches its SEC championship bout against the Bulldogs, the Crimson Tide secured some wiggle room, jumping Notre Dame in the penultimate set of CFP rankings to sit at No. 9. The Fighting Irish do not play again in the regular season. Need a news break? Check out
