PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in finding a suspect in a robbery at a Peoria Walgreen’s.
The office says at around 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, a middle aged black male reportedly entered the Western Avenue location wearing a surgical mask.
The man allegedly attempted to use the Western Union kiosk but was declined, then reportedly demanded all the money in a register.
The employee reportedly handed over an undetermined amount of money and the suspect left the store, driving away in what police describe as a black Ford Edge.
Deputies say no weapon was seen.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office of Crime Stoppers.
