MORTON ( 25News Now ) - A semi-trailer fire slowed traffic on portions of Interstate 74 near Morton Tuesday afternoon.

Illinois State Police (ISP) said the call came in around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-74 westbound near mile marker 104. That is two miles east of the Morton exit.

Illinois State Police adds all westbound lanes are currently shut down at this time as the fire is being put out.

No injuries have been reported.
