Organizers of the upcoming Panini Senior Bowl have revealed that a country group with local roots will headline a free public concert as part of the festivities leading up to the game.
Muscadine Bloodline will headline the show, which will start in Mardi Gras Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. It promises to be a big night, as it’s also the start of Mobile’s Mardi Gras parading season.
According to information provided by Senior Bowl organizers, the bowl game’s annual Player Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., starting at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel and proceeding north on Royal Street before turning west on St. Francis Street to pass Bienville Square. The parade will include “college mascots, local dignitaries, and the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe.”
