The Cook County Board of Review will re-open 24 previously closed townships for appeals starting Wednesday.
Taxpayers who have not already submitted assessment complaints for 2025 will have until Dec. 12 to do so, though the deadline for evidence supporting appeals is Dec. 24.
The following townships will be reopened: Berwyn, Evanston, Norwood Park, River Forest, Riverside, Rogers Park, Cicero, Oak Park, Palos, Elk Grove, Lakeview, Lyons, New Trier, Barrington, Maine, Northfield, Stickney, West Chicago, Bremen, Calumet, Hyde Park, Lemont, Leyden and Worth.
Appeals can be made online , at in-person events held by the Board of Review or at the Board of Review’s office downtown at 118 N. Clark St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
