Silas Graham had himself a night Tuesday. Haverford School needed it.
Graham scored 42 points, two shy of the program record, to lead the Fords to a 67-46 win over Friends’ Central. The junior guard scored 29 of the team’s 31 first-half points.
No one else reached double figures for Haverford. Conor Morsell scored eight points.
In other nonleague action:
Chichester 51, Overbrook 37 >> Kayron Kinney scored 19 points, and Nasir Robinson added 12 for the Eagles, who overcame a three-point halftime deficit by holding Overbrook to just 16 points after the break. Will Bronson added 12 points.
Downingtown East 63, Haverford 55 >> Jamie Haskell scored 13 points and Henry Yaz added 12, but the Fords couldn’t recover from a 12-point halftime deficit.
