CHEYENNE — Cheyenne City Council members have not seen much interest from potential buyers or lessees since passing Resolution 6479 in July, which states the historic pumphouse on Dillon Avenue would be demolished if not purchased or leased by Jan. 14.
For this reason, members of the council are considering passing a resolution that would repeal that resolution, and list the pumphouse for sale or lease with revised terms and a demolition date extended to March 27.
Members of the council’s Finance Committee discussed the proposed changes at a meeting Tuesday, and ultimately voted to recommend postponement due to many concerns with the resolution as written.
