LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person has life-threatening injuries after an assault according to the Lexington Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive at 6:09 p.m. for a reported assault

Police say the victim was transported with life-threatening injuries

Officials told WKYT that there is no threat to the public.
