Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says that after the latest Steelers loss to the Buffalo Bills , it might be time for the team and head coach Mike Tomlin to move on from one another.

Roethlisberger, who played under Tomlin for 15 seasons, says that he loves his former coach, but the marriage between the Steelers and Tomlin might have gone sour. In Roethlisberger’s view, it would be fine if the Steelers ended up moving on, and it could be to the benefit of Tomlin.

“Maybe it’s a clean house time and I like Coach Tomlin I have a lot of respect for Coach Tomlin. Maybe it’s best for him too. Maybe a fresh start for him is what’s best,” Roethlisberger said on the Footbahlin’ podcast.
