Television host Laura Woods has reassured fans that she is "OK" following a live on-air collapse during ITV's coverage of a football match, causing worry among viewers.

Woods, who is engaged to Geordie and ex-Love Island star Adam Collard , was anchoring the broadcast of the England women's team's international friendly against Ghana at St Mary's Stadium on ITV4, alongside Ian Wright and Anita Asante, when she suddenly fell forward, only to be caught by her fellow presenters .

ITV swiftly transitioned to an advert break, with Woods subsequently replaced by colleague Katie Shanahan, who informed viewers that the presenter had "taken ill".
