After holding what he described at the time as a "collaborative" meeting with Mayor Alan Webber's administration shortly after winning the election, Santa Fe Mayor-elect Michael Garcia said he still has not received much of the information he asked for.
"A lot of the requests have been unmet at this moment," Garcia said during a brief news conference Tuesday evening.
Garcia spoke via Zoom following the first meeting of his transition team, which will be grouped into pairs to conduct strength, weakness, opportunity and threat, or SWOT, analysis meetings with key city leaders in the coming weeks.
He described the process as a "health check" of city government and an opportunity to hear directly from leaders about how they see the future of their departments.
