KAIMUKI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are searching for two armed and masked men who allegedly broke into a home and attacked its residents.
The incident occurred Tuesday morning at around 2:25 a.m. on Alencastre Street.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, two men armed with firearms allegedly entered a 58-year-old man’s bedroom and injured him.
The second male victim, 55, said he heard noises and went downstairs, where he saw the assault, said police.
The suspects allegedly threatened and ordered the second victim back toward the unit before they ran away.
The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Investigators did not say whether the firearms were fired.
