GLASGOW'S oldest bar and restaurant has undergone a £300,000 festive facelift.
Sloans, located just off Argyle Street, has unveiled the transformation which has reinvented the 228-year-old venue inside and out and reimagined it as one of the city centre's must-visit Christmas destinations.
The new makeover includes a complete festive overhaul of the Grand Ballroom, bar and courtyard with fairy lights, baubles and Christmas trees.

It forms part of a wider Christmas programme of more than 100 festive events which are being delivered at Sloans this season, including their legendary ceilidhs, Eat Film movie nights and a new adults-only show, Mrs Claus Naughty Singalong.
