ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Two men are in custody after authorities said a noise complaint led to a gun and drug bust in Orangeburg County.
Orangeburg County Leroy Ravenell said 24-year-old Tyshon Jefferson and 25-year-old Tamir Shivers were arrested Monday and each face multiple counts of marijuana possession.
Jefferson was additionally charged with weapons charges, including three counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Ravenell said deputies responded to Baugh Street at around 7 p.m. Monday after a noise complaint. He added that deputies later found several weapons and marijuana inside a vehicle.
Authorities found more marijuana and two other guns with multiple magazines after searching the vehicle and an apartment it was associated.
