Meghan Markle is creating new memories with her kids.

The Duchess of Sussex kicked off a festive new tradition for son Archie Harrison , 6, and daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana , 4—who she shares with husband Prince Harry —involving custom advent calendars in her new With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration special on Netflix.

"I love the idea of an advent calendar, so I wanted to do it for my own kids," Meghan says at the beginning of the Dec. 3 special while standing in front of two red-and-white fabric calendars with her kids’ names embroidered on them. "All it's really about is having a surprise and delight every single day for 24 days until you get to Christmas. They're not supposed to be big things; they're supposed to be gestures."
