The Los Angeles Lakers franchise is in mourning over the loss of Elden Campbell.
Campbell, who spent most of his career with his hometown Los Angeles Lakers and later won the NBA Finals with the Detroit Pistons, has died.
He was only 57.
Campbell’s death was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
The longtime Los Angeles Lakers big man and key figure on the team during the ’90s had no cause of death given.
Elden Campbell’s death comes over a year after Lakers legend Jerry West passed away.
He passed away at the age of 86.
Back in 2020, Kobe Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter crash.
The helicopter he was traveling in crashed into a hillside, killing all nine people on board, including his daughter.
