A correctional officer at New Jersey's Atlantic County Justice Center has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a female inmate.

According to police, Sebastian Flores-Huamani, 24, a correctional officer at the Atlantic County Justice Center, was arrested on Tuesday and he has since been charged with sexual assault and official misconduct.

The charges come after, officials said, an inmate at the justice center told officials, on Sept. 4, 2025, that Flores-Huamani entered her cell and sexually assaulted her.
