Atlantic County Corrections Officer Sexually Assaulted Woman At Jail: Prosecutor

A 24-year-old Mays Landing resident and correctional officer is charged with sexually assaulting a woman at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, authorities announced Wednesday, Dec. 3.

On Thursday, Sept. 4, an inmate at the facility accused Sebastian Flores-Huamani of entering her cell and sexually assaulting her, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

An investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office led to Flores-Huamani being arrested at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 2, authorities said.

Flores-Huamani is charged with sexual assault and official misconduct, authorities said.
