On behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, a petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court seeking permission for him to undergo medical tests and examinations at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital every month.

The petition was submitted through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. It requests the court to issue directions allowing the former prime minister to receive regular medical check-ups at Shaukat Khanum, “in accordance with his medical history and current health condition.”

The application names the Punjab Home Department secretary, the Inspector General of Prisons, the superintendent of Adiala Jail, the Medical Superintendent, and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital as respondents.
