A major A-road leading to a beloved holiday destination has been turned into a causeway after surrounding waters rose significantly.
The Met Office had issued rain warnings for Monday and the weather didn't disappoint. Capel Curig became the UK's wettest location after receiving 73mm of rainfall in under 24 hours.
The Llŷn Peninsula experienced similar conditions, with the coastal stretch taking the full force of the unsettled weather. The downpour resulted in multiple road closures and flood alerts and warnings across Eryri and Pen Llŷn.
