COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein could be headed back home to Kansas State to take over as head coach of the Wildcats, according to a report by the Manhattan Mercury.

Current Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman is considering retirement from his position to leave the job with the former Wildcat quarterback, according to reports from ESPN and The Mercury.

According to an A&M spokesperson, Klein has yet to sign a contract with the Wildcats, but things are trending in that direction. The expectation would be that Klein coaches the Aggies through the playoff run.
