Sauk County officials name driver who died in Highway 14 crash

SPRING GREEN, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office identified the person who died in a crash last week in Town of Spring Green.

The driver who died in the crash was identified as Jason Schilder, 42, of Watertown.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office determined a GMC Sierra was heading westbound on Highway 14 on Friday, Nov. 28, when it drove into the eastbound lane and hit a trailer being pulled by a GMC Yukon.

Sauk County deputies determined Schilder, who was driving the GMC Sierra, had died in the crash.

Officials took the driver of the GMC Yukon, a 47-year-old Marshall resident, to a hospital.
