HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Marshall University VP and Director of Athletics Gerald Harrison announced plans Wednesday for a new golf practice facility.

The facility will be built at the Guyan Golf & Country Club and will cost about $1.3 million to build.

The new facility is in partnership with Guyan after being in the works for three years.

Harrison said it will take about 18 months at the longest to finish construction.

The new facility will be a 60x40 brick building with netting for driving, and will be placed by the driving range.

Harrison said the facility will have the best tracking technology available.
