A 26-year-old Guelph man is facing several charges in connection with a stolen truck in Puslinch.

Guelph police said the report for a stolen Ford F150 came in Tuesday, at approximately 7:30 a.m., from a Puslinch man, saying his truck had been taken overnight, but he was tracking it and it was in east Guelph.

As well, he said, his credit cards had been used at a business on Victoria Road North.

Officers found the truck unoccupied near Watt Street and Troy Crescent and while conducting surveillance, saw a man get into the truck and start it, police said.

Officers drove toward the truck in unmarked vehicles and the driver opened the door, hitting one of the police vehicles. He then ran across the roof of the unmarked vehicle in an attempt to flee.

Officers grabbed him and arrested him. D
