Regarding the opinion published on Nov. 22 by a group of students from Brainerd, “School survey is worrisome,” it is heartening to read this cogent commentary by a local group of young citizens.

They make a solid case for questioning the clarity and purity of the stream that flows from the fountain of public policies.

And perhaps they inadvertently make a solid case for allowing the voting age to be reduced to 16, as perhaps a reasonable tool for their self-defense from the debts and decisions incurred by the complicit elders and saddled upon those captive juniors.
