MIDDLETON, Wis. — Crews were on scene at a house in Middleton for a fire early Wednesday morning.
According to the Dane County Sheriff's Office and the Middleton Fire District, the homeowner called 911 and left the house before emergency personnel arrived near the 4700 block of Sunset Ridge Drive at 2:14 a.m.
Firefighters put water on the fire 10 minutes after they were paged, putting the fire out almost immediately, a spokesperson for the fire department said. Fire crews remained on scene to ensure the fire would not spread to the rest of the residence.
Our crew on scene saw the Dane County Sheriff's Office along with firefighters from Middleton, Verona, Waunakee, Cross Plains and Mount Horeb responding.
