ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A Burlington man was arrested for biting a K-9 officer on Monday, Dec. 1, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Burlington Police Department.

Lashaun Warren Crump, 44, was arrested and charged with felony assault on a law enforcement agency animal and misdemeanor resisting pubic officer, according to the warrant.

Crump allegedly bit K-9 Talon on the left ear "with intent to maim" and causing pain..

He is being held on a $50,000 bond, his release order said.
