ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Two men accused of trafficking nearly 1,600 pounds of methamphetamine in blackberry shipments are facing federal charges.
Hundreds of kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were found in Atlanta and Hall County on Black Friday, according to FBI Atlanta.
The agency said 419 kilos were found at a home on Custer Avenue SE “in a shipment of blackberries inside a refrigerated truck parked outside the home,” FBI Atlanta officials said.

The FBI said 300 kilos of meth were found in another refrigerated box truck outside of a business on McEver Road in Hall County.
Both shipments are “believed to have been brought into the United States from Mexico.”
