The Falmouth Public Library and Falmouth Solid Waste Advisory Committee will host a special Holiday Kid’s Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, December 20, from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Library’s Hermann Foundation Meeting Room.
A team of local “elves” will be on hand with their tools to help children learn how everyday objects work and how to fix simple problems. Kids are encouraged to bring one or two small items in need of repair, such as a stuffed animal, toy or simple gadget, and work side-by-side with a volunteer “elf” to diagnose the issue and attempt a repair.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. As space allows, adults may also bring similar personal items in need of minor repair.
