DALLAS — AT&T customers have about two weeks left to file claims that could total as much as $7,500 a person as part of a $177 million class-action settlement that the court approved earlier this year from a lawsuit filed by customers who said their personal information was exposed in two major data incidents.

People in the AT&T 1 class can pursue documented losses of up to $5,000 or take a tiered payment if their Social Security number or other specific data elements were exposed. Members of the AT&T 2 class may seek up to $2,500 for documented losses or elect a pro-rata payment from remaining funds.

Customers affected by both incidents could be eligible to claim up to $7,500.
