We’ve reached the end of the Road to Gillette.
Sixteen teams will compete in Foxborough over three days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) with MIAA state football championships on the line. Two games will be played on Thursday with two more on Friday, leading into a four-game Saturday to close it all out. That action concludes with the Division I Super Bowl between St. John’s Prep and Xaverian in the nightcap Saturday.
This is the 18th year Gillette Stadium will host the games and the eighth time that all eight championship games will be played on the home turf of the six-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. It’s the culmination of more than 100 playoff football games across the state over a four-week span.
