Draymond Green didn’t try to sugarcoat it Tuesday night — he told media members going on the road while his pregnant wife remains at home is “pretty sh–tty.”
Green opened up on his situation just after Golden State fell to the Thunder at Chase Center in San Francisco, explaining having to leave the Bay Area for the next few weeks to play road tilts for the Warriors “sucks.”
“Pretty s—ty, if I’m honest,” he said . “But, nonetheless, this is my job. And I love to do my job. But it’s terrible, if I’m honest.”
Green’s spouse, Hazel Renee, announced in September she was pregnant with her and Green’s third child. And while an official due date is not yet known, it seems a delivery is imminent.
But Green and the Warriors are slated to spend five of their next six games outside of California
