Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football signed former a Boise State wide receiver who spent the past year at a junior college in California.
Zamondre Merriweather, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound receiver, has two years of eligibility remaining
He spent three seasons at Boise State from 2020-24 but did not appear in a game.
Merriweather was previously committed to Nevada but received an offer from Syracuse on Dec. 1, according to 247Sports.
A three-star prospect, Merriweather collected 961 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns this past season in 10 games for Glendale Community College.
The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the third-best junior college wide receiver and No. 16 player among overall junior college prospects.
