The Princess of Wales was a vision in royal blue as she joined Prince William to welcome Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender to London , kicking off a state visit that will see the Heads of State hosted at Windsor Castle by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Catherine donned one of her favourite designers for the stately occasion, sporting a bespoke royal blue coat from Alexander McQueen and a dress by Burberry. The Princess paired the garment with her Juliette Botterill ‘Bow and Arrow’ hat in a matching shade of blue and a pair of navy boots.
