OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police Chief Todd Schmaderer gave an update on the shooting that injured three officers and killed the suspect .
Schmaderer said Wednesday's events started at Phil's Cash Saver near N 31st Avenue and Ames Avenue, around 12:20 p.m.
One person was critically injured in that shooting.

Officers got the license plate from the vehicle at the shooting, and they were able to track down the vehicle at QuikTrip near 33rd and L streets.
Schmaderer said the suspect, who was a male in his late 20s, went into the gas station's bathroom, and when he came out, he started firing on officers.
