GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island brewery will close its doors for the final time at the end of this year.

Prairie Pride Brewing Co. announced on social media on Tuesday that due to ongoing health issues, they will be closing.

In their post they shared that the business has been more than a bar.

“For years, this has been so much more than a bar: It’s been a home. A meeting place. A celebration spot,” Prairie Pride shared to social media.

They thanked customers for their support over the years and encouraged them to stop by for one last drink before the end of the year.

In their post, they say they will be hosting events throughout the month as they finish their chapter with memories to cherish.
