SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - As community members, it’s a priority to keep our families safe. Recently, a question was asked about security at the downtown public library.
Of all the Siouxland library branches, the downtown public library is the largest and offers unique sections.
Siouxland libraries director Alysia Boysen also shows me the areas for kids.
“You can look at local history there; this is the only branch that has that collection.” said Boysen. “Learn in the playroom, we have the toddler space where our youngest kids can come in.”
There are programs for all ages.
“They can learn new skills or meet new people who have similar interests.” said Boysen.
Boysen ensures all staff are trained in more than traditional library tasks.
