SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Twenty years ago on December 3, a boom echoed across Sioux Falls when the Zip Feed Tower demolition failed right here. Now, two decades later, this very location has become the ever changing, high-energy Cherapa Place campus.
While the anticipation was high back in 2005, especially for Jeff Scherschligt who had purchased the Zip Field building, the demolition did not go as planned and ended mostly in laughter and even international fame.
