Alabama football put together a top-five recruiting class a year ago and will look to do the same for 2026.
In the 247Sports Composite rankings , Crimson Tide sits at No. 4 at about 5 p.m. CT Wednesday , the first day in which 2026 recruits could sign with their respective teams. Alabama entered the day ranked No. 2, just behind Southern Cal.
Southern Cal still holds the top spot with 35 commits. Oregon ranks second with 21 commits. Notre Dame ranks third with 27 commits. Alabama sits at No. 4 with 21 commits.
Rounding out the top 10 are No. 5 Tennessee, No. 6 Georgia, No. 7 Ohio State, No. 8 Texas, No. 9 Texas A&M and No. 10 Miami.
A year ago, Alabama finished with the No. 3 recruiting class with 21 commits, behind only Texas and Georgia. That was the first full class under coach
