Wawa will open its newest store in Middlesex County on Thursday, offering free coffee through the weekend and other giveaways.
The store at 88 Centennial Ave. in Piscataway, will open its doors to customers at 8 a.m. after a countdown led by General Manager Nicholas Bloodgood.
The first 100 customers will receive free Wawa T-shirts while supplies last.
All visitors can get free hot coffee of any size through Sunday, Dec. 7.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Thursday, featuring state and local officials.
The event will include a “Hoagies for Heroes” competition in which police and fire department members will compete to build hoagies, benefiting local charities.
Craig Clarke, Wawa’s director of store operations, and James Brown, area manager, are expected to attend.
