DALLAS — Jasper resident David Anthony Piepenburg, 46, pleaded guilty this week to trafficking methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and was sentenced to over 11 years in federal prison, says U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs.
The court of the Eastern District of Texas accepted a plea from Piepenburg, who, according to information presented in court, conspired with others to distribute and possess 500 grams or more of meth in operations dating back to 2019.
Piepenburg was sentenced to 135 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant on Monday during a hearing in Sherman.
