DALLAS — A guilty plea to the Eastern District of Texas court helped produce a 24-month sentence in federal prison for Rosalind Horton, 34, of Quinlan.

Horton will serve the two years after being convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs announced Wednesday.

The proceedings, overseen in Sherman by U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant, included details stating Horton's conspiratorial involvement in distributing and possessing 500 grams or more of methamphetamine dating back to 2020. Horton's sentencing took place on Monday.
