ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Around 4:21 p.m. on December 3rd, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to the intersection of 6th Street and Menaul in response to reports of a possible structure fire.
Upon arriving to the scene, officers reported a medium-sized commercial building with a working fire visible from the roof and interior.
Damage to the structure included heavy heat and fire damage to the west side of the building.
The fire was brought under control within 14 minutes of officers' arrival, and no injuries were reported to any civilians or firefighters.
The cause has been determined to be accidental due to an electrical malfunction.
